VMF & VPF Hybrid LIC Supercapacitors

Cornell Dubilier/Knowles (CDE) VMF and VPF Hybrid LIC Supercapacitors offer capacitance values ranging from 10F to 220F, low equivalent series resistance (ESR), and high current handling capabilities. CDE VMF and VPF Supercapacitors operate from -25°C to +85°C and are rated up to 500,000 charge/discharge cycles. The series also offers a higher operating voltage at 3.8V compared to typical supercapacitors. Applications include solar/wind, energy storage, and pulse power.

Supercapacitors

Cornell Dubilier (CDE) Supercapacitors are also known as ultracapacitors, double-layer capacitors, or electro-chemical double layer capacitors (EDLC). These supercapacitors offer a comprehensive range of capacitance values and voltages. The utilized CDE technology is used in various applications, from battery backup in smart meters to regenerative braking. Ranging from board-mountable coin types to radial form factors, these supercapacitors provide high-voltage modules with active or passive balancing. CDE Supercapacitors are ideal for wind turbines, mass transit, hybrid cars, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment applications.
