High-Reliability Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX High-Reliability Tantalum Capacitors offer higher capacitance ratings, a variety of case sizes, and low ESR options for critical output filtering applications. The portfolio includes COTS+ MnO2, wet tantalum, and polymer capacitors. KYOCERA AVX High-Reliability Tantalum Capacitors are ideal for automotive, medical, industrial, and specialty applications. 

TWC COTS+ Conventional Wet Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX TWC COTS+ Conventional Wet Tantalum Capacitors are designed for use at 125°C. The components can operate at 300 hours at extreme temperatures with the applicable derated voltage. These capacitors include a welded tantalum can and header assembly, providing a hermetic seal to withstand harsh environments. The TWC-Y capacitors can function in temperatures up to 200°C and are capable of 500 hours of operation. KYOCERA AVX TWC and TWC-Y COTS+ Wet Tantalum Capacitors include a welded tantalum can and header assembly that provides a hermetic seal to withstand harsh environments.

Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX provides a large portfolio of capacitor solutions designed around density, size, and reliability requirements. Common capacitor types include aluminum electrolytic, tantalum electrolytic, ceramic, and film. KYOCERA AVX ceramic capacitors are commonly used in DC-DC converters, which can be found in nearly every subsystem of electric vehicles (EVs). 

COTS+ Tantalum Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX COTS+ Tantalum Capacitors offer cost-effective solutions based on MIL-PRF-55365 standards. KYOCERA AVX COTS+ Tantalum Capacitors feature high capacitance/voltage (CV) ratings with low ESR characteristics. The capacitors are designed and tested for non-critical commercial and industrial applications. Custom screening options are available from Weibull burn-in times to the highest aerospace level testing to the SRC9000 KYOCERA AVX specification.
