KAM Automotive MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX KAM Automotive Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are AEC-Q200 qualified and plated with a nickel/tin finish. These capacitors feature 0201 to 2220 case sizes with a maximum thickness ranging from 0.56mm to 2.8mm. The KAM series offers a capacitance range of 0.47pF to 22µF with a variety of tolerances and a voltage range of 2.5VDC to 1kVDC. KYOCERA AVX KAM Automotive MLCCs are constructed using high-purity ceramics for high reliability.

Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX provides a large portfolio of capacitor solutions designed around density, size, and reliability requirements. Common capacitor types include aluminum electrolytic, tantalum electrolytic, ceramic, and film. KYOCERA AVX ceramic capacitors are commonly used in DC-DC converters, which can be found in nearly every subsystem of electric vehicles (EVs).
