9159 Solid State LED Lighting Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 9159 Solid State LED Lighting Connectors are board-to-board and wire-to-board interconnects with 2- to 6-way plugs and sockets or a card edge style for daisy-chaining multiple LED boards together in a series. The simple and cost-effective one-piece card edge connectors on a 2.0mm pitch provide multiple connections to tin plated fingers at the end of each 1.60mm thick PCB. The two-piece plug and receptacle SMT connector systems are on a 3.0mm pitch with a miniature 3.0mm height and 5.5mm overall mated length. KYOCERA AVX 9159 Solid State LED Lighting Connectors are UL approved and RoHS compliant.

70-9159 Coplanar Board-to-Board Contact System

KYOCERA AVX 70-9159 Coplanar BTB (Board-to-Board) Contact System is a gold-plated, horizontal contact system designed to maximize lateral PCB alignment and mating tolerances using a proven 2-piece connector solution. Offering a contact height of 1.2mm above the PCB, this system prevents any shadowing effect to maximize light output. The system allows designers to individually space contacts to support any voltage rating with a full 5A current rating. Individual contacts can support Board-to-Board and Wire-to-Board applications. KYOCERA AVX 70-9159 Coplanar BTB Contact System is well-suited for linear LED strip lighting as well as commercial/industrial co-planar or extended card applications.

2-Piece Connectors

Kyocera AVX 2-Piece Connectors are designed for various applications requiring coplanar and perpendicular PCB mating and IDC cabled plug and socket connectors. The connector family is UL-approved and suitable for harsh environments. The Kyocera AVX 2-Piece Connectors feature a gold-plated beryllium copper material for reliable use. The connectors operate with a 5A current rating per contact in a -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
