X5R Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX X5R Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are general-purpose dielectrics for ceramic capacitors offered in various capacitance values. These devices have a temperature variation of capacitance within ±15% of a -55°C to +85°C or +105°C temperature range. Case sizes range from 0101 to 1812, and voltage ranges from 4V to 100V. KYOCERA AVX X5R Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are ideal for decoupling and filtering applications.

MLCC Solutions

KYOCERA AVX is an international manufacturer and supplier of a vast portfolio of advanced passive components. Ceramic capacitors exhibit low parasitics and excellent EMI filtering capabilities. Standard Commercial-Grade MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX Standard Commercial-Grade MLCCs are offered in a variety of dielectric series. The X5R capacitors offer high capacitance values up to 100µF and are well suited for decoupling and filtering applications. Y5V capacitors are formulated for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. C0G(NPO) capacitors offer one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics available. The U series RF/Microwave C0G(NPO) capacitors are designed for ultra-low ESR for applications in the communications market. KYOCERA AVX X7R capacitors are called temperature-stable ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials. 

Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX provides a large portfolio of capacitor solutions designed around density, size, and reliability requirements. Common capacitor types include aluminum electrolytic, tantalum electrolytic, ceramic, and film. KYOCERA AVX ceramic capacitors are commonly used in DC-DC converters, which can be found in nearly every subsystem of electric vehicles (EVs). 

High CV SMD Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX High Capacitance / Voltage (CV) SMD Capacitors are designed to enable optimum performance across all power applications. This ceramic capacitor solution for SMD applications includes extremely high CV (X5R) MLCCs with low ESR for general-purpose decoupling and filtering and high CV (X7R, X7S, and X8R) MLCCs with FlexiTerm for industrial, automotive (AEC-Q200), and commercial applications. KYOCERA AVX Electrolytic Capacitor solutions include small case size tantalum chip, conductive polymer, and fail-safe niobium oxide (Oxicap™) that overlap with commercial, industrial, and AEC-Q200 ceramic ratings, in many cases providing interchangeable solutions. In contrast, the larger case sizes provide even higher CV options.

X5R High CV Dielectric MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX X5R High CV Dielectric MLCCs feature high capacitance values and are designed to enable optimum performance across all power applications. The devices utilize general-purpose EIA Class II dielectrics with a temperature variation of capacitance that is within ±15% from -55°C to +85°C. KYOCERA AVX X5R High CV Dielectric MLCCs are well-suited for decoupling and filtering applications.
