X & Y Class 900 Radial Disc Capacitors

KEMET X and Y Class 900 Radial Disc Capacitors are radial through-hole ceramic disc capacitors specifically designed for interference-suppression AC line filtering applications. The capacitors feature 5mm, 7.5mm, or 10mm lead spacing, high reliability, and kinked or straight lead configurations. The 100% pure matte tin-plated lead finish offers excellent solderability. KEMET X and Y Class 900 Radial Disc Capacitors have internationally recognized safety certifications, making them ideal for applications that require keeping potentially disruptive or damaging line transients and EMI out of susceptible equipment. The X Class capacitors are used primarily in line-to-line (across-the-line) applications while the Y Class capacitors are used in line-to-ground (line bypass) applications.
