C284 Motor Run Film Capacitors

KEMET C284 Motor Run Film Capacitors are self-healing and feature a high capacitance density, spanning a capacitance range of 2500nF to 10,000nF. These capacitors are offered in a cylindrical plastic case with an M8 bolt, or without a fixing bolt/flat bottom. Available parts include unipolar flexible cables (untinned ends) or unipolar rigid cables (tinned ends). The IMQ-approved capacitors feature a rated frequency of 50Hz and 60Hz, a voltage rating of 470VAC, and a 5% tolerance. KEMET C28 motor-run film capacitors are ideal for single-phase, low-power, and compressors motors.

AC Motor Run Film Capacitors

KEMET AC Motor Run Film Capacitors offer a 1µF to 160µF capacitance range and a 500VAC maximum voltage rating. Depending on the model, motor-run capacitors are ideal for compressors, low-power electric motors, and single-phase motors. KEMET AC Motor Run Film Capacitors include the following series: C27, C28/4, and C87.
