VW80808 Automotive Grade (FT-CAP) MLCCs

KEMET VW80808 Automotive Grade Flexible Termination (FT-CAP) Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are ideal for a variety of applications requiring proven, reliable performance under harsh environmental conditions. The X7R dielectric use flexible termination technology that inhibits the transfer of board stress to the rigid ceramic body, therefore mitigating flex cracks, which can result in low IR or short circuit failures. These devices emphasise the vital and robust nature of capacitors that are required for mission and safety of critical automotive subsystems and are compliant with AEC-Q200 and VW80808 specifications. Combined with the stability of an X7R dielectric, and designed to accommodate all capacitance requirements, these flex-robust devices are RoHS-compliant, offer up to 5mm of flex-bend capability, and exhibit a predictable change in capacitance in respect of time and voltage.
