Ceramic Capacitors

KEMET Ceramic Capacitors provide solutions for aerospace, automotive, communications, energy, industrial, and other applications. These devices feature Class I, Class II, and Class III dielectrics and several form factors, including surface mount, through hole, and lead attach. KEMET Ceramic Capacitors are available in a variety of grades, case sizes, voltages, and operating temperatures.

Group Power Conversion Components

YAGEO Group (YAGEO, Pulse, KEMET) designs passive component technologies that are critical in power conversion systems, including safety, snubber, and DC link capacitors; current sense and power resistors; and magnetic components such as transformers, common mode chokes, and inductors. Because every electronic device requires power, a vast majority of these products utilize a form of power conversion or power supply to deliver the required energy. 

High CV Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs)

KEMET High CV Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are a preferred capacitance solution, offering tremendous performance, reliability, and cost advantages for circuit designers. Ceramics are non-polar devices that offer unsurpassed volumetric efficiency, delivering high capacitance in small package sizes. Available in a wide range of sizes, KEMET High CV MLCCs offer very low equivalent series resistance (ESR), exhibit excellent high-frequency characteristics, and are very reliable. MLCCs are monolithic devices that consist of laminated layers of specially formulated ceramic dielectric materials interspersed with a metal electrode system. The layered formation is then fired at a high temperature to produce a sintered and volumetrically efficient capacitance device. A conductive termination barrier system is integrated into the exposed ends of the chip to complete the connection. 

Commercial ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Commercial ≤250V MLCCs offer various form factors, dielectrics, case sizes, up to 250VDC voltage, and capacitance values to give designers solutions for every possible application. These MLCCs from KEMET are available in C0G, U2J, X7R, X5R, Y5V, and Z5U dielectrics with capacitance values up to 100uF and case sizes ranging from EIA 0201 to 2225. Form factors include two-terminal surface-mount MLCCs, arrays, axial, and radial leaded termination options, including those with Sn and SnPb terminations.

Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs offer a wide variety of dielectrics, case sizes, voltages, and capacitance values, giving designers solutions for every possible application. These MLCCs are available in C0G, U2J, X7R, X5R, Y5V, and Z5U dielectrics with capacitance values up to 100uF and case sizes ranging from EIA 0201 to 2225. These capacitors are Lead (Pb)-free, RoHS, and REACH compliant without exemption.

Group Switch Tank Converter Products

YAGEO Group (KEMET, YAGEO, Pulse) Switch Tank Converter (STC) Products are high-efficiency, high-density converters designed for non-isolated DC-DC applications. These devices operate by replacing the large magnetics typically used in converter designs with stacking voltages using switches and capacitors. The STC products are strategically placed between the input and DC-DC converter stages of the YAGEO group's Digital Architecture Passive Components. As a solution, these STC products take advantage of advanced semiconductor technology to support power supplies.

Y5V Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs

KEMET Y5V Commercial Grade SMD ≤250V MLCCs are a family of Class III ceramic chip capacitors used for bypass and decoupling applications. These fixed dielectrics are also suitable for designs where capacitance stability, dielectric losses, and high insulation resistance are not critical. The general-purpose Y5V series operates between -30°C and +85°C, with wide capacitance variations respective to ambient temperature. These lead-free KEMET MLCCs are offered in five case sizes, with models ranging from a 6.3VDC to 50VDC voltage range and 0.022µF to 22µF capacitance range.

YAGEO Group (KEMET, YAGEO, Pulse) offers inductors, capacitors, and TVS diodes with a large variety of form factors and specifications. In a digital system, the input stage is the first step in ensuring data integrity, circuit efficiency, and safety protections.
