OPTIREG™ Mid-Range+ SBC Family

Infineon Technologies OPTIREG™ Mid-Range+ SBC Family are compact monolithic ICs in a VQFN-48 (7mm x 7mm) power package. Infineon Technologies OPTIREG is designed for automotive CAN-LIN applications, serving as a microcontroller power source and LIN/CAN bus interface. The System Basis Chip (SBC) integrates essential features, including a 3.3V LDO for the microcontroller, a 5V LDO with off-board protection for sensors, a 3.3V/1.8V regulator for external PNP transistors, HS-CAN and LIN transceivers for data transmission, high-side switches with protective functions, and a 16-bit SPI for control and monitoring. The devices include a configurable watchdog, three Fail Outputs, and undervoltage reset.
