Automotive Front Light LED Reference Design

Infineon Technologies Automotive Front Light LED Reference Design is a solution for front light high beam/low beams. It uses the flexible multi-topology DC-DC controller TLD5099EP of the LITIX™ Power family in a current-controlled buck-boost SEPIC configuration. A single DC-DC channel drives the high beam and low beam. The high beam is activated in conjunction with the low beam, or the low beam can be activated alone. This is cost-saving and suitable for entry-level LED headlamps. A PWM dimming feature allows more control of brightness and derating in extreme operating conditions. A state-of-the-art diagnosis is provided, as well as transient robustness.
