Variable frequency drives (VFDs) control AC motor speed and torque by varying motor input voltage and frequency. Soft starters offer smooth start and stop operation for a motor. These rectifier bridges are manufactured using planar passivated chips. The 3-phase rectifier bridges make use of screw terminals for space and weight savings while offering low forward voltage for improved temperature and power cycling. IXYS 3-Phase Rectifier Bridges are available in various packages that reduce the effects of harmonics and line distortion. These UL-recognized rectifier bridges deliver 3000V isolation voltage and operate within a -40°C to +175°C temperature range.
