Han® 3A M25 Hoods

HARTING Han® 3A M25 Hoods allow Han 3A size connectors to be produced with larger diameters. These larger diameters enable the connectors to be used with cables up to 25% wider. As a result of this greater width, designers can use contact inserts with higher rated current and bigger cross-sections, such as the Han Q series. Han 3A M25 housing components feature a narrow external geometry overall, terminating in the cable holding area. These HARTING housings are fully compatible with the existing contact inserts in the series. These 3A M25 Hoods also meet the requirements of protection classes IP65 and IP67. Han 3A M25 hood is available in thermoplastic and metal versions, each with a bigger M25 thread, allowing alternative types of mounting including direct mounting on control cabinets.

Han-Modular® Inserts & Contacts

HARTING Han-Modular® product line features a range of modular inserts that enable the simple assembly of custom-designed connectors. Multiple termination styles, including IDC, screw, and crimp, are available. The HARTING Han-Modular guards are available in multi-color options for quick and easy visual identification of the connection. This helps to reduce the risk of mismating in the field.

Han-Modular® Hoods

HARTING Han-Modular® Connector System consists of a wide range of hoods with protection ratings up to IP69K with a compact design to save space. Han-Modular hoods are constructed using metal, plastic, and stainless steel, and the modular, robust structure provides design flexibility. HARTING Han-Modular inserts can be used in any standard Han hood with a Han docking frame.  

Han-Modular® Connector System

HARTING Han-Modular® Heavy-Duty Connector System is designed to provide users with a very high degree of connectivity and manufacturing flexibility. Han-Modular connectors can combine electrical, optical, and gaseous signal and power connections in one easy assembly. Basic modules snap into the mounting frame and can be exchanged separately anytime. Combinations of 1 to 12 modules are possible, depending on the size of the hood and housing chosen. Han-Modular consists of more than 40 module types and can connect to currents from 5A up to 200A, voltages from 50V to 5000V, pneumatic tubes from 1.6mm up to 10mm inner diameter, sensitive bus signals, and fiber-optic signals in both POF. and glass fiber cables. Han-Modular offers a range of basic modules developed to meet the vast majority of user application requirements. This product offering allows users to choose the hoods and housings, inserts, and accessories that best meet design requirements.
