RX8901CE/4901CE Real-Time Clock Modules

Epson Timing RX8901CE/4901CE Real-Time Clock Modules (RTCs) feature an I2C or 3- or 4-wire SPI interface and are high-precision components with low power consumption and an integrated event system with up to 3 event inputs. This event system can detect events and record the timestamp while the microcontroller remains in sleep mode, reducing system power consumption for longer battery life. Epson RX8901CE modules can record timestamps for 32 events in either FIFO or direct mode. These RTCs consume 240nA from a 3V supply and feature a built-in power supply switching circuit. The modules offer time resolution down to 1/512th of a second and are highly stable across the devices' entire operating temperature range.
