Y1 EMI Suppression MKP Capacitors

EPCOS / TDK Y1 EMI Suppression Metallized Polypropylene Film (MKP) Capacitors are designed for Y1 class for interference suppression, line-to-ground, and double insulation applications. The series has a 500VAC rated voltage, a maximum operating temperature of +110°C, and meets the climatic category 40/110/56 (IEC 60068-1:2013). EPCOS / TDK Y1 EMI Suppression Metallized Polypropylene Film (MKP) Capacitors are AEC-Q200D compliant and feature self-healing properties.

Input EMI & Safety Standard Approved Capacitors

EPCOS / TDK Input EMI & Safety Standard Approved Capacitors are available in Metallized Film and Ceramic and are used mainly in industrial, consumer and lighting applications such as for RFI suppression and ESD prevention. The special features of these UL and ENEC certified components are self-extinction and overvoltage security, which is ensured by a special resin filling as well as an "open circuit" failure mode to avoid dangerous shorts. The available categories are X and Y and their subclasses.
