Diodes Incorporated PI5USB30216x USB Switches detect the plug-in orientation of cables. This device supports host mode, device mode, and dual-role mode ports. These modes feature an automatic configuration based on the voltage levels detected on CC pins. This Diodes Incorporated device supports both pin and I²C control base on ADDR pin setting and allows the system choose between the two. The plug-in detector for Type-C connector is a 12-contact, STQFN (1.6mm x1.6mm) package.
