FW Series Nanocrystalline Inductors (Coils/Cores)

Chemi-Con FW Nanocrystalline Inductors (Coils/Cores) achieve high performance, a small size, and a lightweight design by using a high-magnetic permeability material. This high-magnetic permeability material reduces the core volume and the number of copper wire turns, which, in turn, reduces the size and weight of applications. The series provides improved impedance in the 150kHz to 1MHz frequency band compared to FL-V series coils. Chemi-Con FW nanocrystalline coils and cores can provide continuous operation 24 hours and maintain inductor characteristics, even in high-temperature environments. Other features include -40°C to +130°C applicable temperature range, AEC-Q200 compliance, and UL 94V-0 Type B (+130°C) flammability and insulation type. The FW series is ideal for switching power supplies, automotive and medical equipment, communication base stations, and more.
