SV Special Medium Voltage Varistors

Bourns SV Special Medium Voltage Varistors are lead-style, epoxy-coated square- or rectangular-shaped varistors with a 60V_AC to 550V_AC operating voltage. Bourns SV Varistors offer extremely high current and energy capabilities (600A to 15kA peak single pulse current and 4J to 815J single pulse surge energy) and a low clamping voltage, providing an increased level of protection for the transients expected in telecommunication and AC power networks. Compared to electrically equivalent disc varistors, SV varistors are produced with smaller nominal dimensions.
