CHP-A AEC-Q200 Ultra High Power Chip Resistors

Bourns CHP-A AEC-Q200 Compliant Ultra-High Power Thick Film Chip Resistors are sulfur-resistant and offer triple the rated power compared to general-purpose resistors. Bourns CHP-A Resistors are available in four footprints from 0603 to 2512 and offer a wide resistance range from 10Ω. These resistors are made using a thick-film element printed onto a ceramic substrate. The series has a high-rated power of 0.33W packaged in a 0603 size form factor and 3W in a 2512 package at +70°C and meets ASTM B809-95 standards. CHP-A resistors are designed to operate in certain harsh environments exposed to sulfur contamination. Applications include consumer electronics, industrial automation, power supplies, LED lighting applications, and communication base stations.
