AIC1638 Photo Receiver Amplifier ICs

Apex Microtechnology AIC1638 Photo Receiver Amplifier ICs are compact, integrated amplifiers developed for high-sensitivity photodiodes utilized in applications such as light barriers, smoke detectors, and light curtains. The conditioned signals drive a current mirror output stage by filtering out ambient light and amplifying the pulses detected by a photodiode. The AIC1638 Amp features integrated polarity protection, allowing for a multiplexed configuration, which simplifies wiring in the application. The IC can be used for light-sensing applications ranging from a few millimeters to several meters and is optimized to reduce the need for external components.
