SDM SATA Disk Modules

Apacer Technology Inc. SATA-Disk Modules (SDM) are high-performance, embedded SSD designed to replace a conventional SATA hard disk drive in desktops, IT-STB, industrial PCs, and thin client systems. The SDM SSD can be plugged into a standard SATA 7-pin / 22-pin connector. The modules feature a built-in microcontroller and file management firmware that communicates with SATA standard interfaces. This means the SDM SSD does not require additional or proprietary host software. This product is well suited for embedded flash storage applications offering new and expanded functionality as well as more cost-effective designs, better performance, and increased reliability.
