Optical Encoder Position Sensing Solutions

Analog Devices Inc. Optical Encoder Position Sensing Solutions feature highly accurate optical encoders that provide rotary and linear position feedback with resolution up to 26 bits. The optical encoders use a photosensor to detect light through a disk. Sine and cosine signals are interpolated to improve resolution.
