MAX25614 Automotive IR LED/VCSEL Drivers

Analog Devices MAX25614 Automotive IR LED/VCSEL Drivers are high-current IR LED/VCSEL for automotive driver monitoring systems (DMS). The ICs drive IR LED/VCSEL strings of up to 35V from a 4.5V to 36V input supply. The MAX25614 can drive up to the 10A peak current to the IR emitter. It's designed for applications where the IR emitter is pulsed on and off, typically at 60Hz or the shutter speed of the corresponding image sensor. The Analog Devices MAX25614A/MAX25614B uses fixed-frequency, average current-mode control with programmable switching frequency options of 420kHz, 1MHz, 1.6MHz, and 2.1MHz. Both an inrush current-limiting pFET and a low-side switching nFET are integrated.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
