Analog Devices Inc. EE-Sim® Design Generation and Simulation Tool allows the creation and simulation of circuits online. Based on detailed input requirements, Maxim Integrated EE-Sim tool generates an interactive schematic complete with components that are adjustable. ADI EE-Sim features a highly efficient simulation engine. Each design iteration can be simulated in a few minutes. The resulting waveforms, such as Bode plots and voltage graphs, are available for analysis in the included waveform viewer. EE-Sim also allows users to save or print design requirements, schematic, BOM, and results.

MAX15021 Dual 4A/2A Step-Down DC-DC Regulators

Analog Devices Inc. MAX15021 Dual 4A/2A Step-Down DC-DC Regulators offer tracking (coincident and ratiometric) and sequencing options. MAX15021 operates from 2.5V to 5.5V and each output can be adjusted from 0.6V to the input supply (VAVIN). Maxim Integrated MAX15021 step-down DC-DC regulator delivers up to 4A (regulator 1) and 2A (regulator 2) of output current. This ADI device offers the ability to adjust the switching frequency from 500kHz to 4MHz and provides the capability of optimizing the design in terms of size and performance. The MAX15021 utilizes a voltage-mode control scheme with external compensation to provide good noise immunity and maximum flexibility in selecting inductor values and capacitor types. MAX15021 is optimized for use in a variety of applications, including RFID reader cards, automotive multimedia, and PoE IP phones.
