Amphenol Socapex MDP FTV Mini DisplayPort Connection System is designed for harsh environments to provide a complete, rugged solution to the Mini DisplayPort standard. The system utilizes a Tri-Start threaded coupling mechanism (MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Type) to connect the plug and receptacle assemblies. With this solution, users can insert a standard mini DP cable set into a metal plug protected from shock, dust, and liquids. The rugged plug can be easily assembled by the user without tools in the field. The corresponding MDP FTV socket can also strengthen and protect the system against leakage, shock, vibration, etc. The Amphenol Socapex MDP FTV Mini DisplayPort Connection System features a size 13 enclosure that is IP68 rated when mated. Ideal applications include C5ISR, battlefield communications, ground vehicles, and naval and railroads.
