IP67 TNC/BNC RF Cable Connectors

Amphenol RF IP67 TNC/BNC RF Cable Connectors feature a frequency range of DC to 11GHz and 50Ω impedance. These connectors are fully tested to IP67 specifications in mated and unmated conditions. A gasket within the plug body ensures the connector is sealed in the mated condition. When unmated, O-rings within the interface ensure the connector remains IP67 rated. Adhesive-lined heat-shrink tubing reinforces the termination area of the connector. Amphenol RF IP67 TNC/BNC RF Cable Connectors are manufactured from brass and beryllium copper with durable nickel-plated bodies and gold-plated contacts. The BNC series features a bayonet-style connector, allowing for quick connect and disconnect with a positive locking mechanism. The TNC series offers a threaded mating mechanism for mating stability and electrical performance.

BNC Connectors & Adapters

Amphenol RF BNC Connectors and Adapters are available with 50Ω or 75Ω impedance and operate in a 0GHz to 6GHz frequency range. These lightweight miniature connectors offer reliability, 1500VRMS dielectric withstanding voltage, 1000VRMS voltage rating, and 5000MΩ or 10,000MΩ minimum insulation resistance. Many of the connectors feature bayonet-style coupling for quick connections and disconnections. These connectors are available in 50Ω, 75Ω, and 50Ω reverse polarity. The in-series adapters offer two different interfaces within the same connector series, while between-series adapters include interfaces from different connector series. Applications for Amphenol RF BNC Connectors and Adapters are antennas, telecom, automotive, computers/LANs, medical equipment, Mil-Aero, and much more. A full line of PCB receptacles, bulkhead receptacles, reverse-polarity connectors, resistor terminations, and other accessories complement the product offering.

SMP Connectors

Amphenol RF SMP Connectors feature a subminiature interface in the same scale as MMCX connectors while offering a frequency range of DC to 40GHz. These SMP connectors are commonly used in miniaturized high-frequency coaxial modules and are offered in both push-on and snap-on mating styles. The interface is ideal for PC board-to-board interconnect and utilizes a male connector on each of the PC boards and a female-to-female adapter mounted in between to complete the connection. The female adapter is often called a bullet and is necessary to provide a flexible link between the male connectors. This flexible link allows 0.020" of radial float and 0.010" of the axial float. One male connector is typically specified as a snap-on interface and the other as a push-on. This ensures the bullet adapter remains fixed in the same male connector if the PC boards are separated. Amphenol RF SMP connectors feature bullets in multiple lengths for different board spacing.
