Amphe®-GT Reverse Bayonet Connectors

Amphenol Industrial Amphe®-GT Reverse Bayonet Connectors are environmental server power connectors offering RADSOK® technology enabling increased current ratings to 120A on individual contacts. Featuring a high-performance composite plug shell, coupling nut, receptacle, and hardware, these Amphe®-GT components meet all specifications for high power process control and server applications. A compression (setscrew) wire termination to the 6-4AWG or 10-8AWG conductors allows easy field replacement of pin or socket contacts, or complete plug and receptacle assemblies, without requiring specialized tooling.

RADSOK® Amphe-Power® GT Connectors

Amphenol Industrial RADSOK® Amphe-Power® GT Connectors are high amperage-capable connectors designed for demanding industrial and transportation applications. Designed originally for use by the military, these heavy-duty connectors are widely used in mass transit, commercial, geophysical, aerospace, ground support, and shipboard applications. The series handles up to 150% higher amperages than standard contacts. The RADSOK contact is a hyperbolic, stamped grid configuration within the socket. As the male pin is inserted, axial members in the female half deflect, imparting high current flow across the connection with minimal voltage loss. This design ensures a large, coaxial, face-to-face surface area engagement and provides higher current capacity with minimized temperature rise. The RADSOK design of Amphenol Amphe-Power GT Connectors also offers low milli-volt drop because of the intimate contact provided by the spring force of the grid.

Amphenol Industrial RADSOK® Amphe-Power® Connectors are medium- to heavy-duty cylindrical MIL-5015 connectors enhanced with RADSOK sockets and handle up to 50% higher amperages. The unique RADSOK design and construction technology create an electrical contact interface that exceeds typical interconnect requirements. The hyperbolic lamella socket contact construction distributes normal forces over a majority of the mating pin surface for smooth, even engagement effort. This force distribution also withstands vibration applications with resistance to typical fretting corrosion. Amphenol Industrial RADSOK Amphe-Power Connectors offer a high mating durability of 20,000 cycles.

GT Reverse Bayonet Connectors

These IP67-rated waterproof connectors are available in a wide variety of shell styles, insert configurations, and backshells. Insert options include neoprene and Viton™ materials. The series features rugged construction with aluminum or stainless steel components, crimp or solder terminations, and contacts with gold and silver plating. RADSOK® Connectors
