CTD452 Current Sensor Development Boards

Allegro MicroSystems CTD452 Current Sensor Development Boards are engineering tools for evaluating the CT452 IC performance in contactless current sensing applications. CT452 1MHz Bandwidth Contactless Current Sensor is a differential magnetic field sensor IC that detects a current-induced magnetic flux and outputs a voltage proportional to the AC or DC flow. The four-layer PCB tests two types of contactless current sensing methods: a PCB trace for <75A_PK current or with a busbar for 300A_NOMINAL current. The PCB current-carrying trace and the supplied copper busbar feature three slits for current steering and generating a differential magnetic field.

Allegro MicroSystems Current Sensor Evaluation Boards offer a convenient method for quickly evaluating Allegro Current Sensors in a lab environment without needing a custom circuit board. These evaluation boards are intended for use with a user-populated Allegro Current Sensor IC.
