Allegro MicroSystems XtremeSense™ TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) Technology Sensors feature a range of high-bandwidth and ultra-low-noise integrated contact current sensors. XtremeSense TMR technology enables high magnetic sensitivity, extremely low power consumption, and smaller size compared to other magnetic technologies such as Hall, AMR, and GMR. Allegro MicroSystems XtremeSense TMR Technology Sensors are an ideal fit for high-growth industries such as automotive, industrial, and consumer goods that require higher accuracy, lower power consumption, and greater bandwidth.

CT430 XtremeSense™ TMR Sensors

Allegro MicroSystems CT430 XtremeSense™ TMR Sensors are high bandwidth and ultra-low noise integrated contact current sensors. The Allegro CT430 utilizes the patented XtremeSense TMR technology to enable high-accuracy current measurements for many consumer and industrial applications. The CT430 Sensors support eight current ranges. The integrated current-carrying conductor (CCC) handles up to 65A of current and generates a current measurement as a linear analog output voltage. The device delivers a total output error of less than ±1.0% full-scale (FS) over-voltage and the full temperature range. The CT430 Sensors achieve 1MHz bandwidth and 300ns response time. High signal-to-noise (SNR) with ultra-low noise of 9mARMS. Integrated common-mode field rejection of -54 dB to ensure stray fields do not impact measurements in the working application.
